FIFA: a bonus of 1.66 million euros for Gianni Infantino
Gianni Infantino, the President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), has received a bonus of €1.66 million, according to the organization's 2022 annual report.

The FIFA report also shows that Infantino's annual base salary is €1.969 million, in addition to other allowances and benefits provided by FIFA. After the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Infantino is set to receive a bonus of €1.66 million in 2023, which is an increase of €626,000 compared to his annual bonus in the previous year. In comparison, after the 2018 World Cup in Russia, Infantino received a bonus of just under €840,000.
The FIFA report also notes that the organization contributes to social security, pension, accident insurance, and other Swiss social benefits for the president and secretary-general, as it does for all its employees.
In addition to Infantino, the Secretary-General of FIFA, Fatma Samoura, has seen her annual bonus double between 2021 and 2022, to €606,000. Her total annual remuneration, including bonuses, is €1.918 million in 2022. When Infantino and Samoura took office in 2016, they did not award themselves any bonuses, and their total annual remuneration was €1.528 million and €845,000, respectively. In 2015, the former FIFA President Sepp Blatter's salary was valued at €3.2 million, while the former Secretary-General Jérôme Valcke's salary was €1.87 million.
